Five Fiesta Bands Celebrate Summer

The 33rd Annual Fiesta Del Sol on June 2 at Fletcher Cove Park in Solana Beach is once again being booked by The Belly Up. This year’s lineup includes some of San Diego’s finest homegrown talent. Here’s a chance to learn a little bit about 5 of the bands.

Roger Waters – The Wall Live Tour – Concert Review


Roger Waters and The Wall Live Tour finally found their way to San Diego for a sold out show at The Valley View Casino Center Sunday night. The mammoth tour that Waters took around the world in 2011 made its triumphant return to North America for a string of shows that Waters claims will be the last for The Wall Tour.

Banding Together is a local nonprofit giving music therapy scholarships, mentorships, and instruments to kids with autism and other special needs. Board member, Andrea Moriarty, was kind enough to share with me about the personal effect that music has had on her son and her family and how Banding Together is helping others through the power of music.

This year’s two day Solana Beach Fiesta Del Sol lineup, booked by the Belly Up, offers up a ton of great music to choose from. Lindsey Buckingham Live at The Belly Up – Concert Review


Towards the end of his show at the Belly Up Thursday night, May 3rd, Lindsey Buckingham explained how Fleetwood Mac is the “big machine” and what he is doing now is “just me – the little machine.” Though the “machine” might be smaller–just him and his multitude of guitar–the results were grandiose.
