Eddie Vedder Sells Out Copley Hall Show July 5th

Not a single ticket remains for Eddie Vedder’s solo show at Copley Symphony Hall on July 5th. Vedder will hit town with his ukulele, yes , you read that right, his ukulele, promoting his May 31 album Ukulele Songs. Vedder has been a fan of the instrument for years and has finally put together a full disc of covers and originals on the unique four string instrument. The disc also includes a remake of the 2002 Pearl Jam song “Can’t Keep” and features guest vocals from Glen Hansard (who is also on the bill in San Diego) and Cat Power.

The hometown hero should be in fine form, as the San Diego show is the 11th show on his 17 date tour, giving him plenty of time to work through most of the new material on stage. Those lucky enough to grab one of these hot tickets should be in for an intimate night from one of rock’s more passionate performers.

Below is the beautiful first single from Vedder’s Ukulele Songs entitled “Longing To Belong”
