Vinyl is back! You can’t beat the sound, you can’t beat a great album cover, and combing through the liner notes, lyrics, or any other extra goodies included is always better with a record.

Jack White fans obviously feel the same, as his new record Blunderbuss, was the highest selling vinyl album of 2012. Clocking in at 33,000 copies sold, Blunderbuss knocked the Beatles’ Abbey Road from its spot at the top of the charts, which reigned #1 for three years running.  White’s Blunderbuss, which is nominated for three Grammys, cashed in the highest sales for a new album since SoundScan began tracking vinyl in 2008.
