Radiohead says “NO” to San Diego

One of the biggest rock bands on the planet has embarked on a long-awaited tour and so far, San Diego is not on its list of stops. Though there have been a few big rock acts (Foo Fighters, Robert Plant, Paul Simon) to perform in San Diego this year, there have also been a few tours that came close but didn’t play the area. Prince, Phish, Bob Seger, and U2 all played L.A. or Anaheim but didn’t make it to San Diego.

So far, Radiohead has only announced its first leg of the tour, but still, no San Diego dates have been announced. Colorado and Arizona are as close as it gets.

Radiohead last played San Diego in 2008 at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater. Hopefully, seeing that they just announced the first leg of 10 shows, San Diego will be added to the next leg of the tour.

Feb. 27: Miami, FL- American Airlines Arena

Feb. 29: Tampa, FL- St. Pete Times Forum

Mar. 1: Atlanta, GA- Philips Arena

Mar. 3: Houston, TX- Toyota Center
